A little help for your next catch.

Contact Catcharium

Email support@fria.ai. Include your app version, iOS version, and a short description of the issue. The in-app Support link prepares an editable email with your RevenueCat purchase user ID and, when available, your Firebase anonymous account ID so we can locate the right records. You decide whether to send it. Never send your Apple password or full payment card details.

Improve an identification

Photograph one animal clearly, with its full body in frame and good light. Recognition requires internet access. If a scan fails, keep the photo and try again when your connection is available. AI species suggestions and length estimates can be wrong; verify important results independently.

Purchases and subscriptions

Use Restore Purchases on Catcharium’s purchase screen while signed in to the Apple Account or Google Account that made the purchase. Restore Purchases restores eligible Pro access. It does not recover your catch journal or transfer an anonymous cloud account to a new device.

For Apple subscriptions, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or open Apple subscription settings. Request Apple refunds through Report a Problem.

For Android subscriptions, open Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or open Google Play subscriptions. See Google’s cancellation instructions and refund process. Deleting the app or its anonymous account does not cancel a subscription.

Delete data or make a privacy request

To delete a catch and its saved app photos, open the catch details and choose Delete catch. In versions with cloud backup, deletion also queues removal of the corresponding cloud record, linked scan, and app photos; earned badges may remain.

Where cloud backup is available, open Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm Delete everything to request deletion of all scans, saved catches, photos, and your anonymous account. After the service accepts the request, the app clears its local journal and signs out. Cloud cleanup continues afterward and retries interruptions automatically. Offline requests wait until the app can reconnect; keep the app installed until acceptance. If the option is unavailable or you cannot access your account, email us for help.

Removing the app does not request deletion of cloud records or cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription. Original images in your photo library, shared copies, device backups, and purchase records are managed separately. Cloud recovery requires a completed backup and the same anonymous account; a new device or lost anonymous credentials cannot automatically recover your previous journal. Keep independent copies of important photos.

For account assistance or privacy requests, email support@fria.ai. The in-app Support email draft includes your Firebase user ID when available; you can include it to help us locate your account. Do not send passwords or full payment card details.
